Ski Trip 2015
On the 11th of August the Year 12 Outdoor and Environmental Studies class ventured to Rubicon Valley to begin their ski expedition.
We stayed at Rubicon Outdoor Centre who transported us to Lake Mountain on the Tuesday and Thursday for cross country skiing and to Mt Buller on the Wednesday for downhill skiing.
It was a great opportunity for the students to observe both alpine resorts and environments whilst working on their downhill and cross country skiing skills. For some students it was a challenging activity, however they all persisted and thoroughly enjoyed their time on the slopes.
Thankfully the weather was great with snowfall overnight and throughout the day.
I would like to thank Ms Farrell who gave up her time for the three days to attend and be of great help to myself and the students.
