Chisholm Year 7 Camp
These past two weeks, the year sevens went to camp at Anglesea and have enjoyed ourselves while we were there. It was so much fun and we learned something new each day as well! We learned about OWLE (Open Water Learning Experience) and we learned to work together as a team.
It was a good three days and we all stepped out of our comfort zones. The YMCA staff were really nice and each of the activities taught us each a lesson either involving skill or general knowledge like OWLE or surfing. They taught us knowledge in the water, how to surf and how to balance on the surfboard. The night walks were awesome and we got to see a lot new things and even some animals like wild rabbits and even kangaroos! We would like to thank all the staff that came along with us and the staff at YMCA for helping us throughout the camp. Also for the year ten leaders as well for helping us and guiding us through the activities and organising the trivia night. We wished we could do it again and I’m sure we all would in a heartbeat.
