In April this year, 41 eager music students from Strathmore Secondary College and University High School set off on an experience of a lifetime.

We boarded a Malaysian Airline flight for Paris with seven teachers in tow, tons of suitcases and a large assortment of musical instruments, including two double basses, five cellos, countless violins, brass instruments, percussion gear and a tuba weighing 32kgs.
