There were also sightseeing days when we visited museums, walked along the Seine, climbed the Eiffel Tower, went on a boat ride in Brugge, toured Versailles and went shopping.....at Galeries Lafayette, at the Paris Flea market, at Montmartre and wherever there were shops. Berets of different hues started making their appearance and the clothes and footwear acquired by the fashionable students were most interesting.
