The tour preparation for the musicians started with rehearsals in Term 4, 2008 which included several combined rehearsals at both schools. On April 2nd 2009, a Farewell Concert was held at the Clocktower Centre in Moonee Ponds for families and friends at which funds were raised to support the tour. Our sincere thanks to those who came to this event and to the Mayor of the City of Moonee Valley for the use of the venue.
