To compliment this unit of work, a 10 week pre-driver training program is also being offered during Year 10 sport. The highlight of this program for students is the series of driving lessons they undertake with Camelot Driving School at Moonee Valley Race Track and Fairburn Park. Three students are allocated to a car/instructor and they spend 15 minutes each being given practical tuition at their appropriate skill level. This allows students to be involved in lessons as both drivers and observers, gaining valuable experience and knowledge as passengers as well as during their own lessons.
