EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Extra curricular activities are important in bringing depth and diversity to our program. We provide a range of activities and opportunities for students of all interests and abilities.
Every year level has the opportunity to attend a camp. Destinations range from local to interstate and in some cases include international trips such as the Advanced Space Academy camp to America and the language study tours to Italy and Japan. A combined Year 7 and 8 camp is held at the start of every year and is an important part of the Year 7 transition program of events.
In Year 9, all students undertake community service in special schools, aged care facilities or disability centres. They also attend school in the city for a week and undertake a range of research activities and present these findings at a parent evening.
Students can join debating and public speaking competitions, become a member of the College Choir or Symphony, play in one of our many interschool sports teams, participate in the annual College production or get involved in leadership initiatives.
The learning experience incorporates more than curriculum alone and students are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities that interests them.
