Burnet Tasmania Camp
In the first week of term four we ran the biennial Burnet Tasmania Camp.
A lovely group of Burnet Year 9 and 10 students joined us on a 5-day tour which included such highlights as a Jet boat ride on the Huon River, the Tahune Airwalk and historic Port Arthur. The tour was fantastic! We enjoyed perfect weather and a memorable commentary from our coach driver.
The students were able to cement existing friendships, make new ones, and even got to see Mr Roberts ‘gabber’.
Tasmania was a beautiful place. Great place to relax and take all the fresh air in. The most memorable thing was the ghost tour and holding on to my friends like my life depended on it. Also the zoo when we got up close and personal with the most beautiful animals.
Enjoyed the nature and animals. Also Kerry was awesome.

Tassie camp was an amazing experience. All year 9s & 10s got along and frienships were made. The Cadbury Chocolate Factory was cool and feeding the lions at ZooDoo was awesome!
The camp was great, loved it because of the people that went and how the days were set up but I wish we had more time with friends.
The Tasmania trip was so much fun. We did so many different, fun and exciting things. I wish I could go back with everyone!
